Weekly virtual training classes are run, lasting 2 days, from 1000-1600. With a good internet connection, this can be taken from home on a laptop, computer or phone, in the UK or overseas. Lockdown did not stop us at My Nurse\u2019s Life Training the OSCE. <\/span>We are running weekly classroom training in London and Liverpool, but are continuing to offer virtual OSCE Training.<\/span><\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
We trained nurses virtually, for 5 months during lockdown, to prepare them for both the OSCE and for their role on the temporary register. Since the beginning we have improved and developed the program further.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
We had already been commissioned to prepare teaching sessions for clients in India, Philippines and Africa, when lockdown occurred and were extremely well prepared when it came into being in March 2020.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Due to the high demand for the course, we have run sessions several times a month, and have a 100% pass rate with only one resit.<\/span><\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Our exclusive online self study course prepares them well for the training and practice and they are enrolled as part of the program. <\/span>Nurses are able to interact well with us through the Zoom app, getting full training and are able to have the classroom training from their home or wherever they can access internet. <\/span>Nurses send videos and completed paperwork, which we mark and return promptly to them.<\/span><\/div>

Prior to training, nurses are sent practice packs with items required for demonstration and a workbook that has been developed over 4 years to include all the steps and updates in the exam.<\/span><\/div>

Following training feedback is given, and contact is continued, through the support offered through the WhatsApp group. The nurses enjoy being part of a positive community, who all witness nurses pass daily.<\/span><\/div>
