Midwifery training for NMC OSCE that covers all aspects of the APIE, clinical skills and silent stations that can be encountered. The training includes routine checks of women and newborn as well as emergency situations and how to approach them. Silent station preparation included and how to approach it.
Course Content
- Experiential sessions or Intensive NMC OSCE training for overseas nurses 5 days face to face
- 1 day extra virtual training
- Access to online training platform until passed
- Clinical Skills Station assessments
- IM, Intravenous (IV) flush, Visual Infusion Phlebitis (VIP) Assessment, Removal of Urinary Catheter, Breech Birth, Postpartum Haemorrhage, Complex birth, Systematic Examination of the Newborn, Postnatal Care, Postnatal Check
- All 2 Evidenced Based and 2 Practice and Professional values… all covered
- All aspects of the 3 OSCE patients – Antenatal Admission, Labour and Birth and Postnatal Visit, that can be encountered in APIE part of exam, are taught and practiced
- Exam-style scenarios expected in your NMC OSCE
