Level 4 Access to Nursing Diploma

My Nurse’s Life is proud to offer the Level 4 Advanced Diploma in Nursing. This qualification provides learners with a solid academic and practical grounding in the field of nursing. This programme is designed to help students build the knowledge, skills and reflective thinking needed to progress into further study or professional practice. Delivered over 22 weeks, it provides a total of 40 credits at Level 4.

Applicants should have a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or appropriate equivalent experience. Competence in English is essential, and all candidates will be invited to attend an interview.

Progression Routes

Upon successful completion, learners may advance to higher-level nursing programmes, healthcare management studies, or move directly into healthcare support roles.

Delivery Mode

Teaching is offered through a combination of lectures, seminars, workshops, independent learning and practical activities, giving learners a well-rounded and engaging study experience.

Course Overview

Level 4 Advanced Diploma in Nursing (40 Credits • 22 Weeks)

This programme develops the foundational knowledge, skills and professional behaviours needed for further nursing education or related healthcare roles. The course is organised into three modules, each aligned with Level 4 academic requirements, and together they comprise a total of 40 credits.

Module 1 – Nursing Foundations (14 credits).

Covers all parts of Nursing Foundations over a 7 week period, and includes Professional Standards, Nursing Process, Infection prevention and control as well as much more. Explored through a mix of workshops, simulations, group tasks, scenario-based learning, demonstrations, seminars, role play, and group tasks.

Module 2 – Applied Nursing Sciences (14 credit Hours).

Weeks 8 to 15 focuses on The Science of Nursing and covers – but is not limited to – Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition & health promotion, Psychological foundations and Mental Health awareness.

Module 3 – Professional Practice & Capstone (12 credit Hours).

Over this 7 week period, we look at practice in broader terms and dive into multiple topics such as the sociology of health, public health, advanced infection control, evidence- based practice and professional practice with a placement simulation, finishing off with an independent Capstone project and presentation.

The Level 4 Advanced Diploma in Nursing provides a strong academic and practical foundation for those beginning their nursing careers. Ideal for anyone thinking about a career in nursing, open to both British Nationals and Foreign Nationals on a 6 month visitor visa.
