Theatre Nurse (Scrub / Anaesthetic / Recovery) and ODP for private hospital Yorkshire
The Scrub Nurse plays a key role in delivering high-quality, safe and effective peri-operative care to patients undergoing surgery. The post focuses on maintaining a sterile operating environment, supporting the surgical team, and contributing to excellent patient outcomes in line with professional standards and CQC requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration
- ODP with HCPC registration
- Recent scrub experience within an operating theatre environment
- Strong knowledge of infection control and aseptic technique
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required
Desirable:
- Experience within a private healthcare setting
- Competency across multiple surgical specialities
- Previous involvement in audit or quality improvement activity
- ILS or equivalent training
